Museums of Portland
In every big city of the world there are different types of museums that have the collection of the heritage of that region. Almost there are every type of things present in the museums. According to a survey there are approximately 17000 art pieces, this collection consist of the art from the 18th century to the present time. Healthy additions are being done in it. It is the only museum in United States that has the largest collection of European art. The collections in the museum are of Wilson Homer, Marsden, Hartley, John Martin, Louise Nevelson. The European collection consists of the work of Edgar Degas, Rene Magritte, Claude Monet, Edward Munch and many more. The building is the combine mixture of three centuries and is worth seeing.
